Sunrise on the mountains
Up before dawn (without coffee), then drove slowly north through the Tetons to Yellowstone.

Entering the Tetons
And as soon as we crossed the entrance to Grand Teton National Park our audio guide said to be alert for wildlife as we passed by a field chock-full of buffalo.

Lander
After last year's autumn road trip, I'm convinced all future travel should include overlaps with folks when possible — it not only changes the shape of a place, it fortifies the spirit.

Started with a hike, ended with a banya
The headline sums it up, but in between those two things were glorious views of roads, mountains, trees, lakes and trails.
