shrimadhopur or srimadhopur smpr town in sikar district founded by jaipur rajdarbar pradhan diwan khushali ram bohra on the akshay tratiya in 1761. it is also known as shri madhopur or sri madhopur but according to government documents its actual name is shrimadhopur. it is a prominent city in sikar having sdm office, tehsil, municipality, krishi upaj mandi, railway station and bus stand. its architecture is similar to jaipur and called as replica of jaipur. all roads intersect at 90 degree
