These Y3K Liquid Chrome Photoshop Letters Turn One Word Into the Whole Poster
Liquid chrome Photoshop letters look effortless in a preview image, but they often look different once you open the PSD and try to spell your own headline. And the renewed interest makes sense because the Y2K liquid metal effect has returned to album covers and sneaker…

The Art Styles of 2027 Are Moving Back Into the Room
The strongest new work is moving back into the room. Online art sales fell 11% to $9.2 billion in 2025, their lowest level since 2019, because high-value deals returned to in-person channels. I think that shift will shape the art styles of 2027 more than any single medium does.…

The Collected Works’ Studio Website Redesign Gets an LED Truck and a Driving Game
A studio website redesign usually ends with a launch post that few people read. The Collected Works skipped the post and rented a truck. The New York and New Orleans design studio loaded its new studio website onto an LED screen, drove it around New York City for eight hours,…

The NEO Brand Guidelines Presentation Template for InDesign Creates a Complete Brand Book in 26 Slides
RedGiant’s NEO brand guidelines presentation template addresses a problem I think many studios ignore until a client sends back a stretched logo. Designers love creating visual identities. However, they hate documenting them. As a result, a freelancer guesses, and the brand…

The Dripdrop Liquid Font Set Packs Six Fonts and 43 Ink Extras Into One Loud Headline Kit. The Dripdrop Liquid Font Set is a headline tool, and it knows that. Sam Parrett made it with real squirts of liquid ink on paper. As a result, every letter looks wet, and none of them…

The Best Graphic Design Books for Christmas—Start With These 3 Titles
Most graphic design books make poor Christmas presents. They look gorgeous in a gift box. Then they collect dust beside the radiator. I picked three that survive until January and well beyond. Each one earned a full review on WE AND THE COLOR, and each one does a different job.…

An InDesign Pitch Deck Presentation Template With Black-and-White Slides and Charts
An InDesign pitch deck can look calm and still carry hard facts. E-Type’s black-and-white template shows it on all 12 predesigned, fully customizable pages. I opened the preview and wanted to start editing at once. That reaction is rare. Many templates make you fight the layout…

Bootzy Clean TM Font by Type Mania
No doubt, Type Mania’s Bootzy Clean TM is a typeface you can put on a poster without apologizing for it. Its forms sit heavy and tight, and the corners stay soft. Type Mania calls the font a tidied version of Bootzy TM, and the previews back that up. Tight sans serifs often fill…

Quinta da Casa Is a 650 m² Single-Storey House Built Around Its Garden
Quinta da Casa gives its garden more authority than its walls. Artequitectos designed the house in Vila Nova de Famalicão, Portugal, and Ivo Tavares photographed it. I went through the project sheet and the studio profile line by line. The plan makes few moves. Each one earns…

The Art of Less Is a Book About Seeing More, Not Having Less
Back in August, I wrote about this new gestalten book before it was even released. Thanks to the lovely people at gestalten, who sent me a copy, I’ve now had the pleasure of spending the past few weeks with it. Although I received a complimentary copy of the book, everything I…

Guka Font Family by Fontfabric
Say Hello to Guka, a Slab Serif That Replaces Clarendon Drops With Block Terminals. Guka is the first Clarendon update in years that I would trust on a brand deck. Fontfabric gave it thick geometrical terminals instead of the classic teardrop drops. That one decision changes the…

This Vertical Business Card Design Template Looks Like It Belongs in a Gallery, Not a Wallet
I discovered this new vertical business card design template from Adobe Stock contributor RedGiant just recently, and the first thing I noticed had nothing to do with the dandelion or the lotus on the front. It was the back. Honestly, there are so many business card design…

GG Hiro Font Family by GG Design
GG Hiro Individual Styles sells the complete GG Hiro family for $34. Six weights, each with a matching italic, and twelve files in total. That price matches the companion listing, GG Hiro – Variable, which packs the same twelve styles into a single variable TTF. These aren’t two…

This InDesign Welcome Kit Presentation Template Doesn’t Just Look Good, It’s Also Easy to Customize
E-Type’s Welcome Kit Presentation Template, a 16-page InDesign file built at 1080 x 1920 pixels for screen presentations, is one of the more complete attempts, I have to say. This review works from the template’s official preview spread; the full 16-page layout is exactly as…

LEGO Architecture Sets for Adults Now Cost $79.99 to $799.99, and These 10 Earn Their Shelf Space. Many LEGO Architecture sets for adults cost more than they deserve, but some do not. So, this list names 10 LEGO Architecture sets and ranks them by what you pay per brick. It also…

Retro Halloween Flyer by Guuver Works Because One Arched Cat Does All the Selling
This retro Halloween flyer makes one decision most templates avoid. It lets a single black cat carry the whole poster. Guuver, an Adobe Stock contributor, designed the A4 layout as an editable vector file with CMYK colors. I opened it in Adobe Illustrator and tried to break it.…

Bootzy Condensed TM Is the Better Rugged, Distressed Font for Stories and Reels. Bootzy Condensed TM beats its famous parent at one specific job. It fits a loud headline into a tall, narrow frame without shrinking the letters. Bootzy TM already owns TikTok cover slides and…

Casa Coqueira is a glass house that answers a neighbor’s problem with five meters of concrete. Tiago Sousa Arquitecto finished it in 2025 in Castanheira, a village in Paredes de Coura, northern Portugal. Quite often, glass houses fight their surroundings, but this one simply…

An InDesign Annual Report Template With Infographics, Illustrations, and 20 Pages Your Readers Will Finish
Honestly, annual reports often die in their second week. Someone skims the chairman’s letter, shrugs, and files the PDF. A good InDesign annual report template has to prevent that from page one. Jozef Micic, a graphic designer and Adobe Stock contributor, designed one that tries…

Basis Grotesque Font Family by Colophon Foundry
Basis Grotesque is the best-behaved grotesque I have seen in years, and I mean that as high praise. I tested the Basis Grotesque font family for several weeks. I set it in a magazine layout and a product interface. Then I pushed it into a pitch deck and a code-heavy…
